During his tenure, Hub guided Grodan’s expansion from its European base into a global presence, establishing the North American business from the ground up, and successfully developing new markets worldwide. He also drove innovation by introducing GroSens sensor technology and the e-Gro digital platform, strengthening Grodan’s position as a pioneer in data-driven cultivation solutions. In addition, Hub has been a strong advocate for environmental sustainability, ensuring Grodan’s solutions continue to advance resource efficiency and long-term ecological value.
To ensure continuity for our customers and partners, Anders Espe Kristensen, current Senior Vice President of ROCKWOOL’s Systems Division (which includes Grodan), will serve as interim Managing Director until a successor is appointed.
Grodan will continue to pursue its innovation efforts and growth strategy as market leader in stone wool growing media, maintaining a strong commitment to our customers, partners, and the horticultural industry.
